Lewis & Clark College, a private liberal arts college with 2,200 undergraduates, invites applications for a two-year teaching postdoctoral position in the Asian Studies Program, beginning fall of 2017. The teaching field is Korea in the social sciences. Examples of specializations include, but are not limited to international relations, environmental studies, political economy, popular culture, development studies, ethnic studies, or gender studies. Fellows teach three courses per year in the fellow’s area of expertise. Lewis & Clark has a well-developed mentorship program for junior faculty and this is a unique opportunity for a recent Ph.D. to develop as a teacher and scholar. Lewis & Clark College will conduct background checks on the finalist(s).
