Provides member institutions the opportunity to apply for a $40,000/year grant to hire a postdoctoral teaching fellow in Asian Studies for one or two years.
Marianna McJimsey Student Paper Competition
The annual prize recognizes the best undergraduate student paper dealing with Asia. Undergraduate students, currently or recently enrolled in ASIANetwork member schools, are eligible to submit their papers for competition
ASIANetwork Speakers Bureau
Provides grants to institutions to bring an ASIANetwork speaker to their campus. Currently offered as a pilot, the program will provide six awards over a two-year period.
Asian Studies Consultant Program
Serves ASIANetwork member institutions seeking advice on ways to strengthen the study of Asia on their campuses or seeking consultants to conduct program assessment or review
Teddy Amoloza Conference Award
Provides travel grants of $500 to up to four junior faculty members who are presenting papers at the ASIANetwork Annual Meeting
