Professor Shankar Ghimire of Maryville College took four students to Nepal in 2016, which resulted in 2 articles co-authored with him. Taylor Rigatti and Nick Sexton studied the impact of microfinance institutions on employment generation, their work was published in the Journal of Development Innovations in 2017. David Clifford and Grace Costa analyzed the impact of microfinance on business growth and their work was published in the 2019 issue of the Academy of Economics and Finance Journal.
Kirk Sandvig, 2005 student fellow under mentor Robert Entenmann, Professor of History and Asian Studies, St. Olaf College, published Hidden Christians in Japan: Breaking the Silence (Lexington Books, 2019). The 2005 SFF program, Hidden Christians in Japan, led directly to this publication.
